St. John Map

If you were to look at a USVI map, St. John might not be the first to catch your eye. Spanning less than 20 square miles, the island of St. John extends 6 miles wide and 13.5 miles long at its widest points. This island is the smallest of its neighbors, but the things it offers puts it in the big leagues, making it a favorite for vacationers and property buyers alike.

Perhaps the biggest draw of St. John (besides the amazing temperature, which ranges from 77 to 90 degrees) is the vibrant nature of the island. In fact, 2/3 of the island is a national park, offering lush greenery and hikes with astounding views. The accessibility to restaurants, shops, schools, and hospitals also makes it amenable to both tourists and property seekers. To get better acquainted with this beautiful island, check out our map of St. John below.

Areas On the Map

In addition to the expansive Virgin Islands National Park, take notice of the five quarters within the St. John Map. While all of these areas share in the tranquil beauty of the island, each has a unique personality. Learn more about the real estate market and culture of each area via the links below.

Cruz Bay Quarter — On the west of the map lies Cruz Bay, St. John’s busy main port, with plenty of restaurants and activity. For those in the market for luxury homes, don’t miss nearby Chocolate Hole Real Estate.

Coral Bay Quarter — Follow along Route 10 on the map and you’ll arrive in St John’s “other” city, Coral Bay. This area of St. John is a more peaceful alternative to Cruz Bay Town for those who like to be close to restaurants and conveniences.

Maho Bay Quarter — Drive north and you’ll find serenity in Maho Bay on north shore of the island. Gentle waters and sea turtles give Maho Bay Quarter a reputation for having St. John’s most beautiful beaches. For those who enjoy a luxurious lifestyle, Peter Bay Real Estate will suit your fancy. For more seclusion and nature, explore Catherineberg Real Estate.

Reef Bay Quarter  — Navigate all the way across the map and discover Reef Bay & Fish Bay on the southernmost part of St. John. Much of Reef Bay resides in Virgin Islands National Park. On a clear day, enjoy views of St. Croix – especially from the dramatic peninsula of Ditleff Point.

East End Quarter  — To the far east of the map sits St. John’s quietest nook – simply called the East End Quarter. Here, you can enjoy solitude, nature, and views of the British Virgin Islands.
